Excellent location and cute old Beach Motel. Nice 20 minute walk to the ocean in five minute walk to coffee shops and great restaurants. There is a homeless guy who likes to hang out the hotel and others who I don’t think actually have rooms. They seemed harmless and the staff tried to redirect them to other locations, but they were often at the chairs and tables outside.

Great location, made it worth the price. Front desk was very welcoming. Room was a bit smaller than expected, and somewhat odd with the black bedding and curtains, but seaside decor and blue wall and trim paint... We really enjoyed our cozy and bright room at this classic motel! The location was great- quiet and a close walk to the beach. Shelly at the office was so friendly and helpful-The parking was easy in the parking lot and also on the street in front. Everything in the room worked great! it is an older buildings so there are older floors that slope slightly, but the walls are freshly painted, the shower was great and the bed was really comfortable. It was a comfortable and affordable stay with friendly staff!🌺

Honestly can’t find a better bang for your buck around this area. Sheets were dirty but I just went to the front desk and asked for new sheets, staff are really friendly. Walking distance to the bars and beach. Perfect for a young group of friends who just need a place to stay or even a young couple who don’t want to damage their bank account. No bugs, no homeless people. My room was great other than the bed sheets. Cheap, close to a lot of things.

I reserved the lease expensive two room apartment. I saved a lot of money by staying here. It was a simple room with one TV and a bed in each room with a side table with two drawers in each room. The air conditioner was a window unit. My stay was during the week and it was very quiet. It’s in walking distance to the grocery store, Starbucks, all the shops and restaurants on Del Mar and yes if you’re fit, you can even walk to the beach, which would take approximately 15 minutes downhill but coming back is all uphill, and great customer service. Our room was ready earlier than anticipated and all request to the front desk were met.
