Good location with old room
The staffs we met were very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for those visiting the cavern nearby. However, the room was not comfortable. The hotel room was partially renovated but excluded the bathroom, and the bathroom was really worn down! Moreover, the mattresses were quite old and the springs inside felt out of use. All of us could not get a good sleep during the stay. To be fair, the price is hard to beat so you cannot expect too much.

Uncomfortable mattress
Overall the room was ok as far as cleanliness, it's almost like whoever they have cleaning missed a couple things like a few strains of hair behind the door in the bathroom and the toilet bowl had stains inside of the bowl. But the mattress had to be one of the worst mattress I slept on,luckily we were only there for one night worst sleep ever

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I was delighted there was an Italian restaurant right beside the Inn to walk to for dinner. Also breakfast was available in the same building. The sink in room 104 has a very slow drain.

The room reek of cigarette! We couldn’t sleep, it was just so bad. They don’t clean this place either. There were dust eveywhere especially on the hangers and inside the closet. But the worst is the awful smell. It gave us headache and sinusitis. We used 3 different essential oils on the pillows. I even slept with a facetowel with 2 dz drops of eucalpytus oil on it and it didn’t do anything. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. We got there at 10:30pm so it was hard to go somewhere else. Avoid if you can.

Simply needs a major over-haul! Old and dated in all areas! Bathroom dirty - shows signs of mold. Took three tries to get into a room! Would never stay there again!

We got in late the 1st night. Went to bed. In the morning one of the blankets fell off abd receied extremely soild sheets with a substance on them in multiple areas. Theses were not stains that didn't wash out *not that that would be acceptable*, they were stuff on top of the sheets so it was obvious they were never changed. We told the front desk and they said they would get a maid in. Never did anyone in management apologize or offer any compensation. Just...we will send a maid in. Disgusting.

The location of this Quality Inn motel to the Luray historic downtown and caverns is really good; very convenient. The front desk person was personable enough, but could've used help checking people in. Our issue with the MOTEL was the room's musty smell. The room appeared clean, but the musty odor was the worst of any place we've ever stayed. It permeated everything. Turning up the air conditioner didn't help. We probably could've requested a different room, but didn't. The odor was so bad it kept us awake during the night and we woke up with headaches. I physically felt nauseous during the night. The bathroom is also pretty small - especially the toilet next to the wall. A larger person will have difficulty sitting comfortably on the toilet. Although the location is really good, we will not stay at this motel again.

Odd, unsettling stains on everything. Musty, humid room. Dead cockroaches stuck to ramdom items like some kind of disgusting easter egg hunt. I took pictures of everything. We all woke up feeling sticky and with sore throats. Will NEVER be using another "quality" inn. Spend the extra $20 and get a room up the hill or just stay out of the city if youre overnighting to go tour the caverns. A 10-30 minute commute is worth it.
