We loved the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, and the beautiful view. I look forward to staying here the next time we return to the area. Overall, the room was very nice. We did have a spider in the light fixture which we cleaned out, it would have been nice to have fly swatter. Not bad, just one pesky fly that must have come in when we opened the door at some point.

If you are planning to visit Galena or anywhere in the surrounding area, I highly recommend the LeFevre Inn. The place is spotless and the rooms are very comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. Appropriate for a wedding, family reunion, a visit to Galena or a weekend getaway for two, make sure you check out this place. Grills for barbecueing and an outdoor swimming pool are provided. We loved it will be going back!

The property is off the beaten path a little bit, which is very nice. Pets are welcome. Staff is very friendly. Recommended several places in town and things to do on our arrival. Continental breakfast is basic but nice quick bite. Pool was closed(Late Feb stay). In room wood fireplace and free firewood is awesome. Will return.

Our stay was superb. The manager met us at the reception and we were able to pick our accommodation. we were here only for a weekend to attend a wedding, but had out 2 dogs with us. They got treats and toys, unexpected but so thoughtful. We loved our suite, where we could see the sunset, enjoy the fireplace (cold 2 days). The suite was perfect, we love out morning coffee, and the coffee maker, real creamer (not the powder), was exactly what we needed. Complementary breakfast was an added bonus, and we enjoyed it. The surroundings were beautiful, we enjoyed the walk with the dogs, they had never seen cows before, and were really intrigued. The distance from Galena is perfect, we actually managed to enjoy dinner and walk on the Main Street. We are definitely coming back to enjoy the stay in summer. Thank you!

Nice room, loved that it was pet friendly and close to downtown Galena. Only thing I would ask is for better signage to find front office when arriving at night. Staff was super friendly.
