The pool was full of dead flies and there were not fitted sheets on the beds. Middle of the night and we're laying on a bare hotel mattress.

Nicely updated hotel convenient to Cedar Point
Hotel is near restaurants and many other fun activities. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Hotel had a pool which was filled with kids swimming. Only negative was the water pressure in the shower was poor. I would stay here again on my next visit to Cedar Point/Sandusky

The way this hotel is handling the covid 19 situation is outstanding. They have kept it extremely clean. I felt safe while staying there. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The maintenance supervisor was especially helpful and when above and beyond to make my son and I feel comfortable.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 I’m sure, I won’t be able to accurately assess what the hotel is like when under normal operations. The positives are that it is extremely well located, just a very short drive outside the gate and in an area with restaurant options, clean, with a very polite and professional staff. The negatives, once again perhaps due to modifications stemming from COVID-19, are that there were no fitted sheets on the bed; regular sheets were used and they would not stay on during the night, the bed cover (blanket) was thin and of poor quality, and the swimming pool was all around shallow with the deepest part being 3ft 6in. If they would slightly improve on the bedding and perhaps offer a simple breakfast, the hotel would easily move into a higher category. However, overall, and for the convenience of it being a Cedar Point Resort, it was well priced and worth the stay.
