Hotel rooms all face the Sound which is stunning and peaceful. I can see why it’s a great summer stay. But we stayed midweek in spring and none of the property benefits were available (bars, restaurants, wellness events, special events). Would have been nice if some of the offerings were spread through week. Still charged a resort fee though…
The room has a minimalist design but missing a lot of practical basic features you expect in any hotel (no hooks in the bathroom, towel rack didn’t clear the toilet, no mirror aside from bathroom, no shelf in shower to put your razor or other items).
Overall a decent hotel. Just a bit overrated with the bells and whistles not there.
