The ratio of staff to guests was incredibly high. Service was not just great. It was special. This property has only 4-5 rooms available. Each room has its own character in this 300 year old house. The property was full of life and plants. Every corner and every inch of the property was decorated with care.
The PEOPLE at Meson Sacristia de la Soledad are WONDERFUL. The beds are not. The building is charming and the breakfasts are delicious. The buses running below our windows at 5 a.m. were an unfortunate surprise. How to come up with one review?
We absolutely loved the property, the staff, the delicious breakfasts, and the location. We felt completely taken care of. The owners went out of their way to help us—the first night we had an emergency that required a complicated telephone conversation and they could not have been more gracious and helpful (everything turned out fine). Abraham is a gem and we felt very sad to say goodbye, especially after his heroic work arranging our bus transportation to Taxco. A wonderful hotel in a wonderful city.
This is a small Boutique Hotel that is family owned by Lulu. They offer breakfast every day and is EXCELLENT! They have a menu to choose from and is amazing food. Abraham and Diana work the Front Desk and they both are very friendly and customer oriented. I’m looking forward to returning next year with my daughters and their families. Every item you see at this hotel is for sale! You just need to ask for prices. Thank you Lulu, Diana, Abraham and the rest of the staff!
This is our second stay at this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and with lovely decor. The owners and staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is delicious!
A well-located property that treats you like you are a family member arriving for a visit.
Lovely couple who own property and live on site, very pleasant employees, large comfortable and beautifully furnished rooms. Tasty breakfast
We flew into Puebla City to visit family who are located about 30 minutes from the Zocalo. We had wanted to spend a few days close to El Centro first and in a safe area. We chose Meson Sacristia de la Soledad and so glad we did. It is a short walk to the Cathedral and Central Area as well as to Los Sapos. Our hosts were amazing, so kind and welcoming, not one bad moment to speak of, we truly felt as if our wishes for anything would have been accommodated. Staff are amazing and so happy to have you here. Thank you to everyone who helped us enjoy our first 3 nights in Puebla and welcomed us. We hope to return again some day. In other words, do not hesitate, book your stay now.
The owners, whom we met, strive to achieve the goal of “mi Casa es su Casa” so one is made very welcome indeed. Special kudos too for Maya.
This hotel is so beautiful and full of character. The building is about 300 years old. Our room was huge, it had a separate living room and private patio. The hotel staff was so warm and sweet and we really enjoyed the breakfast they made for us. If I get another chance to visit Puebla, I would no doubt stay here again!
