Great place to have Vacation and quarantine
From the time I checked in to the time I checked out the staff was very kind and thoughtful. I stayed there for 14 days for quarantine and the staff checked in on me each day. I was very comfortable in my room and had everything I needed. It had a large refrigerator which I used to store my frozen food, and microwave beds and a nice bathroom and shower. There were windows that I could open so when it was cooler I turned off the AC and enjoyed the Hawaiian breeze. The AC was very good and cool as well as quiet. The hospital itself was very quiet and very good for getting a good rest. There was a small private Area with tables and chair right outside of my door which I was allowed to sit out outside. I was able to endure the 14 days as pleasantly as possible. The Wi-Fi was super so I was able to do all that emailing and Netflix in the entire time. The room decor is natural so it was very easy to keep up. Having an affordable stay for quarantine was one of the best things from my state state I also felt very safe. The staff was constantly around.I would like to thank the staff for their kindness and going above and beyond.

The ALOHA SPIRIT oozes at this Hostle. Accommodations are comfortable and as represented. In fact the pics don’t do this establishment justice. Common areas are ideal, including a roof top with a full kitchen, hammocks, tropical trees, etc. Other common areas are sprinkled all over the secured property. An electric keypad secured the building entrances. Staff are on duty 24/7. All beach toys, accessories for a great day on the sand are available to inc surf and boogie boards, bikes, mopeds and umbrellas. Bus stops, ABC Mini Mart, Coffee and Restaurant spots as well as local food trucks are within a block or two The best side of Waikiki beach is a straight, short walk... Washer/dryers on site! NO DOWN SIDES!! None!! I will not hesitate to extend my stay again. In fact after 2 days, I extended for another month!!

Location is ideal(close to the beach and biki bike station, the ABC store, and a place to rent a moped). There's a nice kitchen eating area to use and AC. Room not as nice as the photos, bathroom and shower not clean on the day I arrived, reminded me of my college dorm room but I got used to it. They may not be on top of things as much as when they're full of guests. Be sure to call when the check-in time is. My email confirmation said 1pm but when I arrived I was told by staff it was at 2pm.

The rooftop patio was really great and brakfast wasnt bad. Didnt like the extra charge for a towel though. Only stayed in a couple other hostels but hadnt had this before so thought it was weird. Not expensive just $10 but weird

Affordable, easy access to all Waikiki. A wall full of activities for each day of the week-some free. I did not use this so I don't know if the tour pickups were at the hostel or not. Poor directions to get to Red trolley kiosk, we went in the wrong direction but made the best of it. Would be an asset if they sold the trolley tickets at the hostel and had a list of pickup points. Really was pleased with the room and what was provided with the room. Would use them again if opportunity brought me back to Hawaii.

Staff were absolutely amazing, and so helpful in every way, area is amazing , rooms are exactly what you need , very clean. I have not a single bad thing to say about this property. Specifically Andrew was a great help.

The perfect hostel
This was my second time staying at a hostel on a solo trip, I was expecting to do a lot of relaxing and reading. I was wrong. From the moment I walked in the staff and other guest were so friendly!!! I did not have a dull moment on my trip, I went on the hostel tours and made some life long friends. I recommend this hostel to everyone! Also the north shore tour they offer on Wednesday & fridays you need to take advantage of. It’s ONLY 30 dollars. Take a look online- the next cheapest I found for a full day tour was $170 from Waikiki. I promise you won’t regret your stay or your experiences here. Also awesome rooftop & hammocks :)

They have everything you need and very helpful front desk folks. You don't need to rent boogie boards or chairs, or floaties, it's all there. This is a big $ saver. The staff of the hostel lead daily tours for 20.00 that take you all over the island to various hikes and beaches that meet at 9am in the lobby. Just the Uber would cost you more than that to get to the trailheads. I did not participate in those, but heard great things from fellow travelers. I lost my ATM card and the front desk let me Venmo her money plus fees and she pulled cash out of the ATM for me. Saved my booty! (I found the card in a weird pocket later, of course.) If you plan on staying 6 consecutive nights, befriend them on instagram and book through their site to receive 10% off. The room had small metal gym lockers, just large enough for a laptop and your purse. Bring a small lock. A regular locker lock is too big to fit the locking mechsnism. I travel with a rolly that locks and I like to lock my luggage everytime I get in or out of it and then store it below the bed. Score the bottom bunk and make it your cave. (Those IKEA bunk beds really hurt my feet climbing the ladders.) Remember to save your combination in your phone as a contact, just in case! PRO TIP: Put your hostel key/locker key (if not a combo lock) on a larger keychain if you aren't good with keys. I bring a lanyard from a casino for this purpose. I can attach the key to my beach bag, ect. without fear. Stow your house keys in room.
