Excellent hotel in Colonia
Excellent hotel and very good service. The restaurant is a separate business and the food was good and the service good, but the hotel is a higher standard. Great place to stay in Colonia but consider dinner elsewhere.

Absolute gem
An absolute gem! The main part of the hotel is a charming refurbished old house. Rooms have all amenities, staff is extremely helpful and there is a restaurant with garden and unforgettable views of the river.

Nice hotel that could be better. The staff seem disinterested and aren’t particularly engaging. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed, however during our stay construction on the building next door starts at 8am so sleeping isn’t an option. However that shouldn’t be held against the hotel. The breakfast was perfect and the restaurant staff were very helpful and accommodating which was greatly appreciated. Room service was prompt and very nice as well. However I find it shocking for the price of the hotel that they charge 3usd for a coffee pod in your room or significant charges for bottled water. These seem like small amenities that could and should be included. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it but it could be so much better with very little effort.

The hotel is beautiful, specially enjoyed the views to the river and its location in the old town. On the other hand, I found the hotel very overpriced to what it actually offers, beware that constructions are on going at both ends of the hotel so spending the day at Charco can be a bit unpleasant due to all the noise.

Fun in Colonia
Wonderful weekend stay. 5 minutes from the Buenos Aires ferry. Great dinner on the patio and wonderful inclusive breakfasts. Late afternoon we used the hotel bikes!
