Motel 6 Council Bluffs, IA - Omaha East

Barking dogs are a pain.. Also, meeting up with a dog at the top of the stairs while he's on his way outside to poddy.. startled both myself and the pitbull... It could have gone wrong... But didn't.. Place is nice for me to stay.. Nobody bugs you or bothers you .... Housekeeping is great, shower and toilet are clean... All is good.

The floor was cracking but other than that the room was okay. My only real concern was that I was at an end of the hotel by myself and my car was parked outside my room but there was some car that kept coming by mine. I don't believe they were guests. It was a sketchy situation. I felt like if I didn't come to the window each time I heard them, they may have tried to break in my vehicle. I don't know if the hotel had a camera pointed at the parking lot or not. When the car stopped coming around, I was able to sleep comfortably.

The room I stayed in was clean but is due for a major overhaul instead of putting a cover on a electrical box and covering it up with paint make the wall seem seamless with no holes. The shower curtain in my opinion should have been replaced has well. The bathroom is also due for a major overhaul

My first room was a handicapped room, which I don't recall asking for unless that was cheapest and I clicked on it. The next morning, I discovered my door wasn't locking, so they moved me upstairs, which was a nicer room. The walls were a little thin, glad no one was doing the nasty next door as I most certainly would have heard. They were in the middle of getting all new locks, which I can attest they needed. WTH, the price was right, I wasn't expecting the Ritz. Staff was pleasnat enough.

Ever stayed at a hotel that was “remodeled” looked ok in photos, was cheap and you only needed a few hours of sleep so you booked it? Well that’s how we ended up here. As soon as we entered the lobby area there was a very, very intense smell of a scentsy burner. So strong like almost make you ill strong. But after being in the rest of the hotel it was probably to cover up the icky smell. Lady at front desk looked like she was wearing pajama pants. Once checked in we went to the elevator. That area smelled bad and the elevator worse. The room appeared ok and we took off for our event. Came back at 3am to catch a little sleep before hitting the road. Opened the door and 3 roaches of some sort scattered. Managed to step on two. One got away. Ick!!!! Didn’t walk on floor without shoes. The floor was junk too. Seems to be very cheap linoleum that was coming up and you could feel it move as you walked. Was anxious to get out of there in the am. Took quick shower. There was long hair that didn’t get cleaned off shower curtain So gross. By then I couldn’t wait to check out and get home to take a shower They had obvious replaced hall carpet and painted hallways in attempt to spruce up the place...it needs leveled and rebuilt. Paid $55 to stay here and would not stay again if someone gave me a free room. Actually I won’t ever stay in a Motel 6 after seeing how they represented their rooms online vs actual. Pay more. Stay somewhere else! The scattering bugs should be enough

Well to start the door didn't want to open so I had to go back to the desk to have them fix my key. The bed was so uncomfortable I woke up at least 5 times throughout the night. Only two pillows and I could hear people in other rooms.

Paid for a room I never got to stay in. Front desk person very rude will never go back

I stayed in the hotel September 16-17, Thursday and Friday. I noticed we were missing a very expensive case with electronics that we accidentally left in the hotel. Saturday, I called the hotel, indicated what happened and they said, the manager would lock up items like this and she wouldn't be in until Tuesday. They did not bother to get my information. I was able to call Wednesday and the manager had to return the call. No one would have been able to be in the room until the maid cleaned it after 11. The room keys were inside the room when we left at 4 am. So the maid would have been the only one to see the case, clean the room and turn equipment in. Except somehow the case mysteriously disappeared or really bluntly, they were stolen. Or they didn't clean and next guest booked took off with with the case. I will not be staying there again. And now I have to replace the $800 case and equipment. Not an honest place. A side note: my husband works in building residential restoration and he said the flooring looks like a bunch of kids did it.

Bugs cockroaches climbing on walls but management was very nice
