This is NOT a "complaint", just an observation: it was a little awkward having to remember to take your shoes off and having to put them on at the door on the way out, especially, when you were changing shoes and like to use a shoehorn and then you have to carry it around all day/night.. Perhaps providing a shoehorn in the front hall would be helpful. I understand not wearing shoes in the house to protect the carpets, etc, even if a bit unusual, but the transition every time you went in, or out, was a little awkward. A minor inconvenience, however. It was a very nice place & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spring 2019 Stay
This B and B is in a nearly 200 year old house that has been meticulously maintained. The owners are friendly, the rooms quite comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. Well worth the price.

Enjoyable heritage house close to eeverything
A most pleasant home with amiable host couple. Roms are large, nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Hosts Howard and Jolanta very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast s were great. Eggs Benedict and blueberry pancakes, fresh fruit all delicious. Sitting room very comfortable and a lovely garden setting for afternoon relaxing if you wish. Certainly recommend.

A Lovely Place with a Great Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, creatively, and beautifully presented. The home is immaculate and very comfortable. The location is great. It was only a short walk to town. We were given dining suggestions as well as information about many of the wineries. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

Delightful Place to Stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake
My brother and wife were visiting from England and staying at the Lyons House made our stay in the Niagara Area exceptional! Our hosts were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! The rooms were clean, delightfully decorated and very comfortable! Our breakfasts were very delicious and hosts were very accommodating with dietary needs! We would definitely stay here again and recommend the Lyons House as a wonderful place to stay! Thank you!
