Affordable, convenient and modern
The hotel is very modern and convenient but the beds were typical uncomfortable German twin beds and the AC barely cooled the room. There was no mini frig but the bar was great about providing ice, and fortunately we had our own kettle and fan. When we arrived there was no street parking but we were told if we parked in the garage across the street it would be only 9 euros for the day, which we paid to the hotel in advance. They told us to bring the parking ticket to them before leaving. When we did the one at reception did not know what to do with it but told us there would "be someone at the garage to let us out". We could not get out of the garage without paying the 15 euros in the garage. This was very annoying and I immediately called the hotel to have them take the 9 euros off the credit card.

Big Box = Big Breakfast 😋
Just a lovely hotel with great staff and the best breakfast we’ve had on our road trip. Catered so very well for our puppy Bailey with a terrace outside of our room with grass so he was comfortable. Kempten is a very nice area and all in all it was a fabulous stay. Thank you bigBox.

Ok but 1 pillow
The hotel is basically good. My only gripe is that there is only one pillow, I know I could probably ask for another but arriving just before midnight I just want to go to bed and then I struggle to sleep all night and end up moaning. Oh well next time I book I will request my room has two pillows
