Auberge La Porte Rouge

Chalet A: Large apartment, in a terrible state, peeling paint, lights flicker. They have a very old toaster that burns on one side and does nothing on another. Fireplace but no firewood, not even to buy. WC is running. If they have hosts in the above apartment you would hear every step, word or cough they make. Terrible state of the entire property. I dont think they invested a cent in many many years. The linens were clean though, and the view of the lake nice ...

Older motel. Great location and views, but definitely not as pictured on Expedia. Room is small; furniture is old. No fridge or microwave. Breakfast is bagged and picked up after 8:30 at Reception. On a 3 night stay, had the exact same breakfast 2 days in a row. No service to your room due to Covid. So no garbage being emptied; fresh towels are at Reception if you bring your old ones down. Building is in dire need of repainting and decking and rails are very rickety. If this wasn’t right in front of a gorgeous lake, I’d be looking elsewhere for a room. By the way, pet friendly is only in select rooms.

Nice scinic view . Quite, natural beauty turns mind and body calm and relaxed automayically.

Room was tiny, smelled, washroom was gross. The toilet is against the wall, what human sits on the toilet diagonal? Poor service, they would not refund us the money. Breakfast was served at 830 am, we showed up at 845 am and the office was closed.

Clean, with a small deck, table and chairs overlooking the lake.

A nice decent hotel with reasonable service. Hotel has private beach on lake and outdoor swimming pool. As well, the hotel is right next to the public beach. The rooms have a nice view of the beach.

Nicely nestled by Lac Mercier , superior rooms by the pool and beach , decor dated but clean , very safe and restful

I was not impressed abouf the breakfast. Location very good

The restaurant is excellent, the service was friendly, the room comfortable. I could step outside our room and walk into the lovely town of Old Tremblant or jump on my skis and follow the groomed cross-country ski trail around the lake. An excellent stay! We will be back again.
