We had a wonderful time during our stay here! They were extremely accommodating and it was awesome to be able to walk right out to the beach from our hotel. Everything had been recently updated and was well-maintained. They do allow pets and there was a small fee ($10 per night) that we had to pay when we checked in.

We arrived after hours, and Jim made sure we had what we needed and for our arrival to be seamless as possible. Our room was in excellent condition and super clean and fresh. Our bed was comfortable, seemed brand new and we had no problems! We will definitely stay at the Dolphin Oceanfront again in the future. Thanks again!

Here is an honest review for those looking to discover OBX. The Dolphin is strategically located right on the beach. Everyday you'll have the opportunity to walk through a small little tunnel and you have your own Beach. I found this to be great you literally have airbnbs across the street and the big differences they have to use the public beaches. The Dolphin also . Leads you into Hatteras which is great if you have an off-road vehicle. The staff were wonderful always accommodating. They leave you alone you won't see them unless you need something everyone there was polite and the guy who runs the place Jim is fantastic. While it might not be for everyone if you're the person who's looking to get away with your spouse and you're not even going to spend that much time where you stay this place is perfect. It's literally get up in the a.m. come home at the end of the day and then you can walk in the evening and everything's right there. It really was what we were looking for.
