CORONA certainly ruined the breakfast service...so no one's fault. -Other: I had to change my date, but was unable to do on line via the website (although promised) ! Then the Tel Nr did not work and I had to search around to get a life person on finally. A little frustrating. Yes, noisy around there, but so convenient w/ the S-Bahn within a 5 min walk ! Have been there on other trips - and will be back !

All good except for that I can hear all the noises from outside and neighboring rooms.

Wouldn’t issue a refund! I had to cancel my trip from USA to Germany due to COVID-19

So called in to change my check in date, they said no problem (this is after being hung up on 3 times!) Show up and all the sudden they can't find my reservation. Call Expedia for the booking number they inform me they have to call, wait on hold long distance (gonna be a wonderful cell phone bill) to be told that I would be charged as a no-show...an additional half of what i originally paid for 5 days, said nope they told me it was fine and I'm not paying any extra. Expedia at this point basically told me there was nothing they could do so failures between both the hostel and Expedia cost me three hundred bucks. Ended up walking out and across the street was the Tryp Wyndham where we ended up staying. So if you may run into an emergency do not book this hostel and Expedia does not provide the proper booking number to do any changes apparently though the hostel will tell you different on the phone. Avoid!

As a budget traveler we had a comfortable stay. The hotel is just one train stop from downtown and very close to the station. The room was clean. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

The room is nice but they have no lockers in the room to put your things. So either you trust your roommates or you have to pay 4 Euros a day to rent a locker in the lobby. How stupid is that? The indian/arab working check in is racist. I was one of two people in line to check in and he called over the white behind me, not even acknowledging me. When he gave me my key, he said the room's over there and pointed behind him, expecting me to find it outside in the back. Worse than that, he tried to make me pay for the room again when I already paid it online. Will not stay again, I'm sure they don't care.

Nothing unique and it does serve a purpose but certainly not worth £188 for one night

Very good for transit stay. Value for many. Family room is a large one.

i check in late and they didn't get all the sheets i needed for my bed but it's nice place to stay and i will come again.

Basic accommodation but to be expected for the price. However the hotel has obviously recently undergone a complete refit, so although basic rooms and pretty small, everything is new and clean.
