Hotel Baylan- Basmane

It was our first ever visit to Izmir and had picked up this hotel based on reviews of others. We were not disappointed. We were a family of 5 snd the room we got was a suite of 2 rooms with 3 twin beds in one room and 2 twin beds in the other. The hospitality we received from the staff was simply marvelous. The free breakfast was quite appetising. There was a spacious free parking lot that helped to keep our rentsl car we had arrived in. The hotel's location was also very close to the city centre. All in all we loved our stay at this place.

he hotel is right next to the main train station. In a few seconds you are to the city center and in 10 min walk to city's flea markets. There is large parking lot fully accessible at the back of the hotel which is guarded all day and night. Rooms are excellent equipped and very clean. We even got upgraded room without extra charge. Visited the hotel with my family and even though the whole area around has immigrants and refugees we didn't feel any insecurity at all. Breakfast was just typical but the restaurant is a very nice place. Finally, the staff is always present, day and night, and is always willing to help in any mean. Recommended for families who want to stay in city's center.

Hotel has run down a bit from Three years ago the safe was locked you couldn’t open it . Reported the problem but no one dealt with it . You had a job to open the door it was a good job I was with my husband he just about opened it him self the water kettle wouldn’t work when you put it on it just spurted hot water out . We was only there for 1 night so didn’t want to spend my time down at the reception

The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of our rooms smelled strongly of smoke so make sure to request non-smoking or your clothes will smell. There was a cockerel that crowed for over an hour from 6am so you may not want a room facing this neighbour if you don't like waking early!

Otel çalışanları kibar ve ilgiliydi. Konumu açısından sadece sıkıntı yaşadık çok ara sokaktaydı. Ama otel gayet güzeldi

Путешествуем с семьёй по Турции на автомобиле. Не успевали к забронированный дате. Отель любезно согласился перенести дату заезда. Утром обнаружил, что стёкла машины протерли от грязи. Мелочь, но приятно)). Поселили четверых в просторный 5местный номер. С террасы чудный вид на город, особенно, когда стемнеет.
