Best Western Premier Why Hotel

This is a nice hotel but the shower water was cold! We reported it, someone came to our room to check it and left. It turned out when checking out the next morning it was an issue known to the hotel and other people had experienced the same. Also in our room (4th floor) there was damp on the ceiling. We knew people staying on the 6th floor and they also had a damp smell in their room.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and bath robes, also good quality toiletries. It was also refreshing to have a free mini bar that was restocked daily.There was also a good selection of hot and cold food at the help yourself breakfast bar in the hotel restaurant.

Hotel was clean and conveniently located. The room was big and drinks & snacks were included. The hotel workers were all very friendly.

I was worried the room wouldn't be big enough as we are a family of two adults and two teenagers but all was ok.

Excellent all round. Location fantastic walking distance to everything. The hotel staff friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable.

The hotel like Lille exceeded our expectations. Brilliant location and staff. The Green up initiative is a great idea especially the free drinks for taking part. Morw hotels should do it.

Hotel is okay and staff are very helpful but don't control guest behaviour. Breakfast is served in a very small room which is also the bar area later on in the day. Breakfast is average and a little disappointing. Noise at the front of the hotel is horrendous from returning guests in the early hours. Some guests returning at dawn were permitted to make as much noise as they liked keeping me awake for most of the early hours.

Spacious room and bathroom with great king bed. Great location to train station and sights. Breakfast overpriced windows dirty and noisy street. Service was good. Window cracked facing street

Quirky hotel in a good central location, near the train stations and Old Town. Comfortable retro style seating in the reception area. Room was spacious with a large balcony, raindance shower, free toiletries and minibar. Friendly reception staff. Unfortunately we had to wait a few hours for our room to be ready when we arrived and, despite being out all day during our visit with the sign on our door, our room wasn't cleaned again during our stay. The aircon didn't work well enough to keep the room cool to the temperature set, so it was too hot during the night and, being above a busy street, too noisy to keep the windows open as an alternative to using the aircon. Despite these two issues, it was a good short stay overall and we might consider staying here again.
