Quiet, but isolated and not much nearby
Overall, very good. The rooms are a bit dated and some obvious wear is evident. My chair had the back ripped, wear and scrpae marks on the wall and furniture wand carpet worn. Painted side of bathtub peeling badly and some rust on metal door frame of bathroom. But the bed was comfortable, Heat worked well and the area is QUIET. Only 3 minute drive to the ferry that takes you to downtown. One big minus, no restaurants around anywhere.

Old facility, but kept in good shape. Rooms are quiet. Feels a bit damp, but this is New Orleans after all. All employers were helpful and friendly.

Staff was exceptional and friendly! Beds were clean and comfortable. Air worked great. Bathroom was run down-needed a shower head. Kitchenette microwave handle was broken. But comfort of beds and staff made it worth the stay and it served our purpose for traveling. I also felt very safe and loved that they were dog friendly.

Good for the price
It was a little put away but close to everything at the same time. Good for the price. My room had a smell. It wasn’t unbearable but.. Service was ok.

Overnight stay
It was perfectly fine for what it was. We decided to extend a stay in New Orleans for just one night and waited to find a place to crash at the last minute that wasn’t expensive. This place did the job. It’s quiet and secure. The room is actually pretty big and there’s space to do a little work if you need. But it’s definitely no frills and very old. Water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent. Hair dryer was broken. Towels were small, thin, and rough. Pillows were small and lumpy and gave almost no support. None of this really bothered us for just one night but I wouldn’t want to stay much longer!

Older hotel
An older hotel so concidering was as expected. Issues with water pressure and some of the light switches were iffy. Room was clean and spacious. The area was quite and restful.

Our first room had a smell to it. We tried to overlook and got ready to shower. The shower was not draining and there was nasty stuff in it. We asked to switch. They accommodated. Our second room smelled better and was cleaner. The shower only gave hot water. It was a couple degrees hotter than we’d like but we couldn’t cool it so that was that. We just stayed there. Beds were comfy enough. It was clean enough. It’s a little rundown but that’s why it’s economical. The area is great! Just 15 mins from the city and in a really safe quiet area. Front desk was really nice and overall we enjoyed the stay. I didn’t test the wifi but my 5G with tmobile worked really well in that area.

Great value for the money, needs face-lift
Cheap so expect what you pay for. To be honest it is a good deal for the money. Its just that LA is a beat down state and it shows in every business established and community. Hotel room was decent and very spacious but damp and not so clean. The bath especially was tiny and the flush kept running most of the time. The hotel needs a facelift real bad. Looks and feels old. Neighborhood is actually good compared to other locations in New Orleans which is a big deal!!!
But key takeaway - all things considered, this hotel is a great value for the money!!

The property was very clean and received personal care from Brittany.
She offered us a paper with phone numbers of restaurants around.
No hotel has ever done that.
Great person Brittany is.
