Great staff and central location
A great little centre hotel, on the Main Street with plenty of bars and restaurants. It’s pretty much close to everything you want to do as a tourist. The room, small, but had everything you need, mini bar in my room (207) although you just need to be aware of potential noise from the various bars (Irish and English bars) very close. Didn’t bother me, close window and most of it is blocked out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowed us an extra hour for check out.. location excellent, facilities great. Would recommend.

I'd really like to compliment the front desk staff who were incredibly helpful on several occasions. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I enjoyed my stay immensely. A few minor improvements could be made - the door locks don't retract except with the key card which means that when you leave you have to slam the door for it to lock and you hear every door on the floor when others leave. The wine fridge is a nice touch but it would be nice to be able to turn off the light inside at night. I loved the luggage stand / clothing rack. It's ingenious!

Noisy on the weekend
We were there on a friday night and we got a room facing the street with all the bars and night club. Was very noisy up until very late in the night, even with the earplugs provided. Otherwise, great location to be in the center, room was clean with comfy bed.

Great personality and location!
This property was very accommodating with such a fun decor, including even the bedding! Loved the bedding. Mel the manager had spot on recommendations, knew about transport and was a joy to talk to. Was always willing to help. Huge shout out to Mel!!! It is in a very active part of town (noisy) but that is part of the vibe and convenience. Did I say I loved the bedding??

A lovely boutique hotel, the room was cozy and small. The downside the room I stayed in was street facing and loud music & partying continued late into the nights.

Loved the uniqueness of this hotel, its location and the helpfulness of staff. Only reason for a 4 on facilities is because breakfast is not available on site.

Right in Reykjavik and convenient to a lot of shopping, restaurants and bars. The artwork is great and the seating areas are cool and inviting. The front desk staff are very helpful with showing where free parking can be obtained if you are willing to walk a few blocks. We did and it was nice to see the residential area near there and we felt very safe walking late at night from our car. They also provided me with an umbrella on a very rainy evening.
