Spacious, quiet, great location
We had a weekend stay in the Lord Lyon’s Apartment and it was perfect - much bigger than we expected (the photos don’t do it justice) and had everything we needed. It was in the middle of January but the rooms were always warm. The bedroom at the back of tte building meant no street noise. Right in the thick of it and only 5mins from the station - perfect for a treat - I expect we’ll be back

Amazing location
5/5 for location - unbeatable. The room was large, very functional. It was a bit cold and when I asked about additional heating nobody responded. The bathroom was ok - there was a significant amount of mould on the shower head which I cleaned myself. Mattress very lumpy and needs replacing. Honestly not a smart idea to put the smoke alarm directly outside a bathroom with no ventilation. I’d absolutely stay again though- maybe in the warmer months :)

A Beautiful apartment.
We had a great stay in Edinburgh this year this is our third time. The apartment is in good walking distance for all the sights and amenities. It is very spacious and lovely apartment loved the roll top bath. Exceptionally clean. Although the weather was very miserable we still managed to have a good time an Amazing place to visit. The only things we didn’t like was there’s no microwave and the tv has not got any itv channels. But on the whole a beautiful apartment.

Huge apartment and historically so interesting. Step out the door and you are virtually on the royal mile so it doesn’t get better. Only downside is the noise from the function room next door at night but that appears to happen on Fridays and Saturdays

Beautiful space - much bigger than a standard hotel room. Bed was comfy and I had an excellent bath. Having a fridge, ironing board, and the other perks of the apartment made it just wonderful! The cons: this is right by the University- and on night one you could hear loud screaming and laughter in honor of some’s birthday til past midnight. Sleep was impossible. There was also construction across the road, so the particulars (which are outside anyone’s control) makes it less likely to return anytime soon

Great apartment. 75 stairs to get up and a skinny 18 step spiral staircase but worth it at the top of the world on the Miracle Mile of Edinburgh!

Fantastic accommodation
Loved everything about our stay. Fabulous location, great space, really comfortable and clean bedroom and living area. Wonderful shower and bathroom. Would book again when visiting Edinburgh and would highly recommend
