I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance. The breakfast here is one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. My only slight was the room service. We ordered food to be delivered to our room and had to call down after some time to check on our order. (which was promptly delivered)

A hotel with this proximity to the airport runaway should keep the noise outside at any cost, like any other hotels around the world, with walls, ceiling and windows sound proof. That is the minimum requirement for guests that wish to rest nearby any airport.

Compared to all the other dirty and outworn hotels we stayed at in São Paulo this was the best. But that being said it wasn’t clean in the corners - old yeast in the bathroom and dust here and there. Not what you expect from this type of hotel- but seems to be the “standard” in São Paulo. Dinner wasn’t too good- breakfast was quite ok.

The airport is too big for connections. My gates were about a kilometer apart and I had only 45 minutes to be in the next plane due to long tarmac delays.

From GRU, we took a cab that tried to scam us by taking us on a 30-40 mins ride instead of the usual 10 mins. When we got to the hotel we asked Front Desk to help us with the situation and the female staff professionally and calmly talked to the cab driver. We ended up paying the usual fare of 70 BRL instead of the 200 that the driver wanted. We would have fallen prey if not for the helpful staff of Hampton. Throughout our stay, I also noticed how happy they were helping customers.
