Excellent hotel, service and facilities, very well trained personnel. We stayed in a room called Studio Lago, lovely! The hotel is very well located, walking distance to main attractions in Melakka.

OVERCHARGED
When I made the booking, the price of the room per night was quoted as SGD 111 per night . At the hotel, I was told it is RM508 per night ( SGD 169). This is terrible. I was overcharged a total of SGD 233 for the two rooms that I booked for 2 nights.

Bar & Restaurant by the River.
The service in the bar & restaurant by the river could be improved especially in the response to guest before & after their orders. We had to wait for some time before anyone would approach us to offer a menu & take an order. Even a drink a long time to reach us although there was only one or two tables were occupied. Otherwise it was a good experience stay in Casa Del Rio for 3D & 2N.

Casa del Rio is fabulous. I will definitely return. It is in a wonderful location by the river. The central fountain over which all the rooms face is beautiful. The hotel has a wonderful layout. The room is lovely. The breakfast great and the infinity pool terrific as it is so large. We enjoyed riding around Melaka on the hotel’s bikes.

Great hotel, great location and great service
Very nice place, well structured rooms, great facilities and solid service. We arrived at check-in time of 3pm and suite was still not available till 4pm but staff apologises profusely and offered to send a text to my overseas number once room is ready.

The services are very good and prompt. I don’t like the shower tap. Both the potable and head showers are on when I chose either one. Air con is too cold and does not change fast when temperature was adjusted, hence disturbing my sleep. Also I ask for queen size bed, only to discover it is two single beds join together. I cannot sleep in the middle of course!

Very short walking distance to everywhere. Good spa. Room is very clean. Welcoming, provided cold ice cream while waiting for check in. Very secured hotel. Good spread of breakfast. Slight inconsistencies with turn down service, first night had small sweet desert and nice smelling oil but absent on second night
