I liked that it had easy parking and a front area with a picnic table. The room was perfect for what we needed. The bathroom was shared, but we didn't feel like it was an issue.

This property was adequate but needs updating. I question the cleanliness of the rooms as there were cushions and other bedding that I doubt was washed after each visitor.

This is a very tranquil, lovely property, close to Loch Ness and its shops and attractions, but away from the crowds. Loch Ness is not visible from the property itself, but is very conveniently close by. We felt welcomed, and enjoyed the home-like atmosphere. The room and bathroom were very well-planned and full of thoughtful little additions, such as the makeup light over the sink, the cups and saucers and kettle, the perforated hanging basket in the shower for soaps and supplies to be close at hand whilst showering, etc. The one aspect that was not ideal for the two of us was the bed…it felt rather hard, to us. We realize, however, that a firmer bed may suit many of you. The back garden was well-cared-for and pleasant to look out at. Also, there was a room set aside for guests to prepare and eat foods they have brought along or ordered in….there is a microwave, and there are all kinds of useful items there for that purpose. What a great idea. I’m glad we selected this lovely place to stay. It was a refreshing experience.

The area around here was run down with a tore up street and the property was very difficult for us to locate. The room was very basic and the bathroom was extremely small. There was no breakfast offered although there was a room where you could sit and eat food that you may have brought in. We couldn’t get the TV to work.

2/10 Poor

This was the worst place I've ever stayed. When I booked a "private bathroom", I had no idea I'd have to walk down the hall to get there. Walking around in my pajamas in the middle of the night to use the restroom, standing in the hallway fumbling with the room key at 2am to lock my daughter in for safety, then unlocking the bathroom door, all with a HUGE wooden fob attached to the key, knocking and banging loudly. The sheets were old and pilled and so rough it felt like I was sleeping with tree bark. Rugs and pillows looked like they were from a garage sale. Dingy and unable to be cleaned. Just disgusting. Check in was a very narrow window, and while we arrived during the specific 3 hours that were allowed, Sarah? the lady who was supposed to check us in, had already left. Left us a note. Two very large eastern european men took a significant interest in my 20 year old daughter, to the point we were afraid to leave the room. This should have been described as a "hostel", but honestly, the hostel down the road was cheaper and nicer and more secure. Not a lot of options along the Great Glen Way. Please avoid this place. A tent would have been preferable to this. And cheaper and cleaner.

We were a family of 3 and only stayed for one night, the place is very clean and Sarah had attended to all our query. The only thing I didn't expect was the toilet, I was expecting it to be an on-suite one but it didnt really bother us as it was very clean. Thanks.

Couldnt ask for more.
A lovely little B&B, a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and its very close to loch ness and Urquhart castle. A little strange to have the bathroom across the hall but it was private clean and lockable so cant complain.

The heating was rarely on and there was no way of turning it on, so it was very cold, but otherwise it was a nice little place. It was a bit difficult without a car as there are no taxis and buses don’t come by often, but it is only about a 20 minute walk into the village, so that was only difficult when leaving with heavy luggage. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of Scotland.
