Our stay was comfortable. However we were placed all the way at the end of the hotel. The hot water didn’t work for showering. The restaurant was not open. Pools were ok. Overall stay was ok.

Dificil acceso, el peor servicio al huesped lo encontraras en waves tulum! Te encontrarás a un argenta con cara de colico menstrual quien te dira que con paciencia resolveras el no contar con agua y luz en tu habitación. Es un bonito lugar con una pesima administración.

Reseña The Waves Tulum
La ubicación del hotel es excelente, pero lamentablemente el estado general del lugar deja mucho que desear. Las instalaciones están descuidadas, y el servicio al cliente en el lobby no siempre es amable; en particular, una empleada mostró una actitud arrogante y poco profesional de nacionalidad argentina. Además, hubo varios problemas básicos: la limpieza de la habitación requería ser solicitada explícitamente, dos puertas interiores no funcionaban, y el agua caliente en las duchas era intermitente. Creo que el hotel tiene mucho potencial, pero necesita mejoras urgentes en su mantenimiento y en la capacitación de su personal.

Yuck
Stains, mildew smell!!, leak in kitchen, bedbugs (?) biting on stained sofa. The private road was so flooded after a rainstorm, that we had to wait five hours before we could even drive in. Needs to be graded and taken responsibility for. Kites blamed the Mexican government.The place obviously hasn’t been maintained since it was built. Looks like they built it next to a slum and then ran out of money and have let it coast for a few years.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt
Das Hotel ist gut aufgebaut und die Zimmer bieten viel Platz.Das Bett ist hervorragend. Die Küche gut ausgestattet. Leider gab es ständig Probleme mit dem elektronischen Schloss der Tür zum Apartment. Ich musste es täglich mindestens neu einstellen lassen.Ausgerechnet am 31.12. gab es einen Stromausfall der aber schnell beseitigt wurde.Die Zugangsstrasse ist eine Katastrophe.
