Best Western Hotel Achim Bremen

East access from Highway. Winter Duvet on bed in summer, not too clever. Pillows of poor quality. Welcoming and informative reception staff.

Hotel just had a facelift. Welcomed at reception. We were given a ground floor room which was an upgrade when they saw I had mobility problems. Asked for extra pillows and got them immediately. No tea bags though. Kettle was faulty but quickly rectified with a replacement. Breakfast more than adequate and good price. Happy with our stay

A nice basic hotel, with a friendly staff and a fantastic optional buffet breakfast that's conveniently open until 10 a.m. - which is great when you arrive with jet lag. Although located on a quiet side street, it is conveniently situated near the A1 highway that takes you quickly to Bremen's center and airport. There were some things inside the facility that were less than optimal: an elevator button that was not working properly, and a faucet that blew out its front when I turned up the water flow. Also, the tub you use for both bathing and showering is extremely slippery - an accident waiting to happen. I would have liked more opportunities to eat at the hotel. They do have a limited number and variety of ready-made sandwiches in the lobby's fridge, but it would be nice if they could open their spacious breakfast room for a simple buffet lunch/dinner or, as a minimum, a well-stocked freezer and microwave for those who remain at the hotel now and then.

For one night an ok accommodation. You have to keep windows closed to to keep the noise out from neighboring highways and train tracks. Parking and breakfast are not included.

Good hotel room. Good value. Professional staff. Convenient location

Good reliable wifi. Comfortable bed, clean room. No keys - instead a code you have to enter on the door. Several restaurants in the nearby mall. But the hotel is on the outskirts of town and not directly near anything. Breakfast is not included. Parking costs EUR2.

One Night stay on our way back to Denmark. Close to A1. Little noise from trains - with Close Windows NOT a problem. Parking 2 € a Night Breakfast was good - nice food.

Even though hotel is older it is in a nice quiet area and clean. We booked a handicap room a month prior to visiting and upon arrival they did not have the room (given to another person) and the room had a bathtub which was not accessible.

The hotel is quite worn down but CLEAN. The staff was very kind and helpful. The closeness to the motorway was great for us.
