This hotel has so much potential. It really needs a lot of TLC to be part of the IHG recognition it would like. The infrastructure of the hotel is there. Please modernise it.
The service from check in counter to restaurant crew - 5/5. The staff cannot be faulted in any way.
But you can only work with what you have.
The restaurant - Do check it first before going as ala carte as that may be better for you, albeit small choice too as the buffet was limited in options.
But given the traffic and number of guests, it’s understandable the choice can only be limited.
The worse was the room. The showers need upgrading. The way the showers work is that being part of the bathtub, the water literally goes down the side and somehow ends up on the bathroom floor. Flooring gets wet very easily.
Stayed here for 2 nights and no matter what the crew did, the air con stopped working constantly with error codes appearing at 9pm, 1am, 4:30am. Had to reset the air con as it got way too warm too quickly in the summer. It was 2 nights of poor broken sleep which for little ones is not good.
Poor rooms, needs a lot of renovating.
But the potential is there! Kudos to the crew.
