Pros: New Room and awesome bathroom
Cons: Obnoxious policies and staff. They changed towels every 3 days (which I suppose is a norm for some B&Bs). After 2 days I went and requested an extra towel set, I was charged eur – business is business, I understand. However, after 3 days, they did not give me new towels, when I asked for my towels, I was told that I already got them yesterday for $8 and I don’t need them again 😊. I could not believe it. I asked to get * refund, Front desk got quite and gave me another set.
Air conditioner is another issue, it preset at 23c, which is about 75F and could not keep up. It would take 3hr or so to get room to 75F, they also told us we need to keep all doors closed, including bathroom for AC to work. They would not provide you with second plastic key, so every time you need to leave a room, you have to take key with you, which shuts down AC and person in the room is getting really hot. They don’t provide instructions on how and when turn AC back on (there is an almost invisible button at the top of thermostat)
Location is good for being in the center, however, we had various street artists play under our window every night until midnight, was pretty loud
Overall, I am very dissatisfied, primarily with AC and KEY policies. Owners are really trying to save money on electricity, but it makes customers miserable, have the time I spent in my room where temps were in high 90s F. I paid good money for this room which was advertised with AC, I
