Super Location
Hotel is located just in front of the Interlaken West train station. It was a surprise to us when we found that the entrance to the hotel is just 10m from the train when we alighted. It’s a good choice to stay here for few days when you make your trip in and out to the different Alps in the vicinity.

Excellent location （few steps from Interlaken west station). Convenient to take train to all the attractions in Jungfrau region without moving different locations. We stayed 3 nights in Sept. the breakfast is wonderful. The staffs are so friendly and helpful! highly recommend!

Location - It is just right next to Interlaken West Station, but it is still quite with good river view. Although it is 30 mins walking to Interlaken Ost Station, there is bus stop around the hotel and visitor card will be provided by hotel to take the public transport Migros is opposite to the hotel which is convenient for shopping Breakfast starts from 0630 with good range of choices though the taste is on average

Quiet comfort, excellent staff and tasty breakfast
The Essential was a great place to stay right along the Interlaken West train stop, literally out the back door. With the door closed however, we couldn't even hear the trains stopping. Excellent rooms and breakfast as well. This isn't a cheap place to stay but well worth the money when you need a quiet and comfortable place to recharge after active days in the mountains.

This place has been the best place we've stayed at so far on our trip (we've stayed at 4 places prior to this). 1) everything is very clean and new. 2) subjective view - beds were super comfortable, not too firm or plush. 3) very sound proof wall and hotel. We are right outside a train station and you cannot hear or feel the vibration. 4) very friendly and helpful staff. 5) breakfast buffet is a winner. You are spoilt for choices. Cannot fault this place, one of the few places I would stay again.

This was a lovely modern and comfortable hotel. Rooms are nicely planned and decorated modestly. They do not over small in room fridges or a kettle (for us tea drinkers) which lessened the convenience of this room for us but otherwise was nice. Its actually on the interlaken West stn which was so convenient to catch train or bus. Breakfast was delicious with options of breads, fruits, cheese. We booked Essential Zimmer room. They provided with interior view so nothing to see from the window. No Fridge in hotel. Overall the staff was helpful and location made things simple. Migros is next to hotel. Coop is 5mins walk. Good restaurants are 10mins walk.
