The check-in experience at Days Inn was less than ideal. The morning of my stay, I received a welcome message from Days Inn telling me to check-in ahead of time. I was also given the option to choose late checkout. At the end, I was charged $134. I thought this was the $100 deposit + late checkout. At check-in, I was told this was the actual charge for my stay. When I explained that I had already paid (through Hotels.com), the front desk agent said that all she could see what they rec'd $134. I asked if that was from hotels.com? She said she couldn't see any details. Basically, she was unable to help me. Well, I check today and I have not only the charge I paid with hotels.com, but I also have the charge from Days Inn. So...I paid for the room twice. Horrible experience.
