Very nice boutique hotel close to subway station. Staff was super friendly. Modern room furnishing with comfortable bed and washroom layout. Complimentary 24/7 coffee and breads and pastries was a nice perk. Highly recommend.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff were friendly, laundry easy to figure out. Only issue is the 24hr snack bar is lacking, it’s nice it’s 24hrs but it doesn’t change for breakfast. So bread for breakfast only, it’d be nice if they had eggs, fruit or something else so you can actually have breakfast. They also watched us struggle our 3 luggage’s and backpacks upstairs.. odd that they don’t help there, but not a big deal. Everything else was standard and as always staff very friendly

Really an awesome location, very close to the station. Staff were amazing and extremely helpful. They even helped with shipping our large suitcases back to Narita airport directly from the hotel. Free coffee, juice and breads were a nice addition, when waking up at 5am to start your day. Very hot water in the very large shower, that heated up quickly. Also had a large bathtub that fill up quickly (a must after walking 20k steps a day). Honestly nothing negative to say about the hotel. Stayed for 5 nights and would do so again.

Excellent professional service at a lovely hotel. The location is incredible - very central, right by the subway station which is on both lines, and walking distance to various sites. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The road which the hotel is on is also very quiet - even though we were only on the 3rd floor there was no traffic noise. The complimentary tea, coffee and pastries were also very welcome each morning.

Rooms had an excellent interior design. Additional sliding door inside the room helps to block unwanted noises from the hallway and bathroom. Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and baked goods in the lounge were excellent for a basic breakfast. Baked goods were always fresh and never stale. Single washer and dryer were always available somehow. Vinyl records and Marshall speaker in the lounge were great!

Awesome spot in Kyoto
Excellent location in short walking distance to two metro lines. Comfortable beds, largest shower/bath of any hotel we stayed at in Japan, comfortable and spacious lobby, and free use of bicycles (if you get there early enough in the morning). Far and away our favorite hotel of our trip!

Loved our stay at this hotel. The room was a little small, standard for Japan, but clean and had all the needed amenities. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hotel lobby is beautiful and has a 24/7 snack bar. Staff were friendly and helpful and stored our luggage for an extra day before we arrived. The neighborhood around the hotel was very quiet but has ample restaurants and bars within walking distance, close to the subway and easily accessible to major tourist destinations. We would stay here again.

Great hotel, would recommend!
Genuinely a fantastic stay, we'll be coming back when we're next in Kyoto! The hotel is in a good location right near Karasuma station. The staff were really friendly and helpful (they made restaurant recommendations and rang around to get our large group a booking more than once). The lobby is outstanding, clean, well maintained and the pastries/bread on offer is delicious. The room was the biggest we had while travelling in Japan. The ONLY irritation is that there's a single washing machine in the hotel so it was a headache trying to use it, but we ended up at a coin laundry 500m away!
