The hotel and staff were awesome. However, due to the inclement weather, there was no internet connection. When on a business trip it is imperative to have an internet connection, and this was a struggle. The room that I was placed in was a handicapped accessible room and the bed was extremely hard and not sleepable. I am sure that it was just this room because if all the beds were like this, it would have been addressed by now. Overall, the hotel and staff were awesome!
It’s the nicest and best hotel in childress and within 50 miles. Solid stay, no problems
We walked into the room and it smelled like mildew. The bed was very used. It was swayed in the middle. The back door was VERY loud. On the plus side, the bathroom was clean. You could smell the bleach that they cleaned with. They did have a hot breakfast.

There was a mixup upon check-in. The room we were given was still being cleaned. We were moved to a different room and were told we were getting an upgrade but as it turns out, it was the room we paid for. The towels were amazingly soft. The bed was so hard it made our ribs hurt. One of the window blinds would not close completely, it open at least 1ft of light coming in at night- luckily we sleep with eye masks. The coffee maker was missing the tray that holds the grounds for brewing. Many guests did not wear masks.
This has been our fav for years. We love that the pool and gym is still available during Covid but hate they breakfast and the nuisance we felt in asking her to make breakfast. Other than the breakfast, everything was amazing!!
