Vital Hotel Wiedemann

Nice and cozy room with a brilliant view! Staff was welcoming and breakfast was amazing.

This hotel was the highlight of our entire multi-city Germany trip. The room was beautiful and CLEAN! We had a balcony with 2 types of chairs. The breakfast was fantastic. Most of all the staff was great. The woman who worked the evening reception desk went out of her way to show us to our room, help with our parking needs, and was just plain nice. We will definitely go back and stay here again!

Beautiful location. Limited internet access especially in the room

The hotel is outside downtown in a mountainous area. About 15 minutes walk to Fussen downtown and it’s a bit hilly. Hotel is in good condition, clean, beds are comfortable, nice and friendly staff, with a decent breakfast. However, WiFi is horrible and it was on and off all the time until after 11pm when other guests probably had gone to bed. This proved to be very inconvenient for me as I had a conference call that night and couldn’t connect and see the presentation on my laptop. Because of the poor WiFi and location being a bit far, will try to choose a different hotel if in the area next time.

Fantastic hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dinner and breakfast were great. Beds were comfy and room was very clean. Good location for getting around, either walking, train, bus or car. Thank you very much!

Lovely hotel in peaceful setting just outside town. We had a generous-sized room with balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the evening meals in the hotel. Great food and service. Used sauna and hired e-bikes from hotel too. Very nice walk into town. Can't fault the hotel at all.

Charming property, with very large (for Europe), clean rooms. We would recommend it to friends.

Not value for the money paid, Bad experience right from the checkin as a Patronising receptionist who enlightened us of cars having number plates in front and back to the issues at the Breakfast tables to the dated interiors of the room..I can go on for long here but the summary is Not worth the time and money..

Stayed two nights. Of course visited Hohonschwangau and Neuschwanstein. This hotel is a short 5 minute drive from both. We had breakfast twice and the selection was great. We ate dinner twice as well and the kids both really enjoyed the tomato soup. The restaurant staff (as well as the registration staff) were very nice. We speak German but they all could use English. However, the real hidden gem was there was a small mini golf spot and a small park a short 5 minute walk down the road. We played golf there twice, the owner was great and when we walked in to play the second day, he smiled and said "Hey, you're back!" The golf prices were very reasonable as well. My only very minor complaint is that the wifi wasn't very strong, and took a while to use the internet on my phone. The fold-out bed was a little uncomfy, but they usually are and that's to be expected. My kids, though, loved the fold out bed. But that's a small price to pay to be in such a beautiful area in Germany. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.
