Great Hideaway in Santorini

Quiet side of Santorini
A friend and I stayed here and loved the exclusivity of being where the tourists can’t go. We loved the communal area with the patio and pool overlooking the ocean. We arrived early from the airport and they allowed us to keep our bags until check in. Additionally the airport had lost my luggage but were able to coordinate with the staff to have it delivered to my room during our stay.

The location was perfect! Amazing view. The AC in the room was not working but the property gave us electric fans and offered us to stay in another room. Close to all the viewpoints in Oia.

The view from the property was beyond dreamy and breathtaking - I couldn’t have been happier! Check-in and check-out was quick and easy and also let us check in early. The property has shared spaces with seating and 2 hot tubs (one is “warm” and one is actually hot) so you have two to choose from for what temperature you prefer. There are a few spots to layout and sun bath however other areas nearby do have the ability to see you - this didn’t bother us however I am mentioning it for those that want “privacy”. The staff were great, they were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable, the AC unit worked great and bathroom/shower was quite large. The rooms were dark and quiet at night which made sleeping very comfortable. The property is very close to the blue dome churches so it busy with tourists taking pictures so it can be quite difficult getting around them but still the perfect location! Beware - lots and lots of steps to get anywhere.. and I mean ALOT! Also, there are stray cats everywhere in Oia but they are friendly and we enjoyed seeing them roam around the rooftops. I would definitely stay here again.

Location here is perfect, the service is great specially from James and the other receptionist. View is amazing, everything is in a walkable distance. I’ll definitely stay here again. Something to improve might be that our room only had a little window above the door which was always open and we could here everything from outside since it’s the room 104 next to the reception, and the A/C didn’t work, even though for this season it wasn’t needed. Overall a very nice experience.
