We thought it was great value for what we paid. Location was great, staff was friendly, breakfast was excellent. We stayed in a quad room that for the money was ok. I refurb is needed, but then again the room would be more expensive, so overall it was fine for our needs and budget.

The receptionist spoke to me initially but when she found out my friend was italian she immediately turned and spoke to her completely blanking me, which was quite rude as i was the guest not my friend.

Room #1. The door does not lock properly. Do not open the bathroom window. It wont shut. You will then call maitenance. A man will walk in call you children then proceed to slam the door shut. In the meantime the shower door will be knocked off the hinges. While you take a shower the door will fall to the ground. this is a low budget hotel.. It is conveniently locked next to the dock... but man is service sub par.

Very good value hotel in Stresa.
I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Primavera. The room was more than adequate; breafast very good. Close to many good restaurants and within easy walking distance to the railroad station for trips into Milan. The biggest problem is parking but the staff were helpful in getting it sorted out. If I'm ever again in Stresa I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a long weekend in Stresa. Hotel was fresh and tidy with parking available at sister hotel a 5 min walk away. Perfect base especially for dinner at Pappagallo!!!

Great value and highly recommended
Our family of four had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in a quadruple room. Hotel amenities were clean and well maintained. Very well situated by the main shops and restaurants, also conveniently close to the ferry terminal and airport bus stop. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the good traditional breakfast and restaurant next door. We loved our stay in beautiful Stresa!
