Hotel Cavalluccio Marino

Very relaxing hotel with fantastic views of the water. Quiet with beach access/pool and hotel restaurant. Limited places to eat since hotel is not in a busy location. Approximately 15 taxi ride to cruise port. Rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a family of four. Breakfast in the morning was included and was continental style. Would go back.

A very comfortable clean hotel in a lovely location directly opposite a private beach area. Staff were all really helpful and attentive.

The hotel is quite outdated though it made up in its location and cleanliness. The room is quite spacious for our stay (2 people) with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed. Noted that the room comes with a tiny fridge which is hardly keep anything cold and there is no iron for your clothes in the room. Hence, if you wish to do so you will need to walk to the other side of the premise and access a shared room where they keep the iron and iron board for all guests to use. Also, it worths notice that the staff is not very fluent English speaking and some of them are not quite patience/helpful in our experience. In addition, it's very difficult to get around if you plan to stay for a while. In that case, I would suggest you plan ahead and rent a car to get around. There is ONLY one taxi company in town and they are overloaded. We tried to order the cab once and they didn't even pick up the phone that tells you how that could be troublesome. Overall, Santa Marinella is a very peaceful and lovely place to visit but since it's not yet tourist friendly, you should definitely do your research and plan ahead before coming to visit. Check in was easy rooms were ready. Property was under renovation and this was not mentioned when booking it was clean but no coffee in the morning unless we paid 2 Euros each breakfast was 10 Euros Day staff not nearly as friendly as evening staff. No bar or restaurant pictures are deceiving but lobby was large and spacious. Not much was in easy walking distance 20 minute walk to everything but restaurant across street which had bar under renovation and wouldn’t serve us without dinner. Probably would not stay again.

The hotel was advertised as AC equipped. The room AC not working properly Dinning room very hot and uncomfortable Overall it was a positive and pleasant experience particularly the hotels beach facility

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. The exterior has seen better days but apart from rickety elevator rooms clean and our Seaview room had a fantastic terrace.

We had stayed in 6 different hotels while traveling Italy, very similar accommodations at all the properties. The room and overall hotel was very clean and we had a sea view which was very nice, the beach and pool were excellent to relax, very quiet and not much else to do but relax in Santa Marinella which was perfect after a very busy 12 day tour of the whole country!

Not sure if it is a 4 star hotel, but it was clean and tidy with a lovely pool, little private beach and cracking view of the sea. Breakfast was fine, with a little bit of choice. Very good WIFI in the hotel. Not always a fluent English speaker at reception but good enough to get by. Very relaxing short stay.
