We like staying in this general area but our orevious preferred hotel burned us, so we had high hopes Sonesta would fit the bill after trying a few other possible locations. Granted from the description we knew the room was small but the queen bed felt more like a full? Even worse was the fact that the bed was as hard as a rock and one of our most uncomfortable ever! This was a former Marriott location and they are known for comfortable beds. I asked the Front Desk Manager if Sonesta had purchased new beds and even though he had worked there 2 years, he hadn't a clue. While he offered to allow us to change rooms, he showed no interest in checking to see if other rooms had more comfortable beds. Our room backed onto the pool courtyard area and for some reason there seemed to be excessive mechanical noise and one could hear doors slamming throughout the building at night. We get that the Pandemic. has forced hotels to adhere to certain procedures but this facility seems to be cutting services that affect the bottom line. We only booked for 2 nights but to not pick up trash, make arrangements on fresh towels or run the dishes used in touchless food delivery? So they lost the opportunity to collect revenue from us for 15 to 20 nights in 2021! We go to Denver on business from our residence in a mountain town about 3 hours west of Denver.

We made a reservation for two. The desk did not ask me the name of the second person and I did not think to provide after driving cross country. My wife found the chain of hotels through hotels.com and we went out of our way to stay at this chain because the first two was incredibly clean and friendly staff. First room had human fluids on the bottom portion of the bed. My wife had the worst experience trying to get her key rekeyed. She was locked out of the building without a coat as we were from Cali. And just didn’t have them with us. They refused to walk her to the exit she came in with another couple to get her phone after they refused to call me for her identity. Three people at the desk and the hotel may have had seven people occupying it. She felt berated and Autumn, the manager, even mocked because she expressed that she was feeling harassed. After it was resolved, she has to once again go get it rekeyed as it their equipment was faulty. She heard the rude dude in the mangers office with Autumn laughing and joking around. However Sabrina was very helpful. I guess my wife inconvenienced their personal party. Wont stay there again. 45 minutes to get a magnetic key rekeyed is foolishness. But the manager was exceptionally unprofessional.

Loved the matress and pillows!! Staff was super friendly and accommodating !! They met all of our needs and we had a wonderful time! The hotel billed us an extra $250°° after our stay however and we are trying to figure that out still.

I got in a bit late. The front desk attendant was so kind and welcoming. I was so happy to be able to receive a check in even with how late/ early in the morning it was. Then after taking my I’d and finishing up by giving me my room key, the attendant did the unexpected, she asked me due to me getting in so late would I like her o have her put me down for a late check out of the time 2pm. That gave my 12 hours I was so thankful. I did get to express how kind she was. She’s a great employee and she k ow how really go above and beyond. I forget her name. Please let her know I really am grateful for employees in the workplace such as her.

Everything was great except no towels in the exercise room and the large tv didn’t have a controller for me to use it. The tv on the elliptical turned on, but only resulted in a cloudy picture not connected to service.

Sadly this hotel was below expectations. The room was one of the dirtiest rooms I have ever checked into. We had a two bedroom suite. We had to request blankets to place over the sofa and chair so we could even sit down. They were stained and filthy. The dishwasher literally would fall out of its place whenever you opened the door to empty it. The chair in one of the bedrooms looked like a murder had taken place on it. The stains were absolutely disgusting. Huge stains. The curtains in the same bedroom had stains “dripping” down them. I can only imagine why type of fluid caused those stains. The carpet was just nasty. Walking in socks, the socks would be black within minutes. The room above us was so noisy all night long. In fact the front desk told us they had received multiple complaints. They said they were going to request they leave the hotel. We were scheduled to stay a week, but checked out after the first night. Even if the noisy neighbors would have left, I just couldn’t get past the lack of cleanliness. The front desk staff was very understanding and kind. They apologized and gave us a full refund for the rest of the week.
