Great location
We stay here because of the Great location, but the room is outdated, very small room and the bathroom was extremely tight. If you’re tall your knees would most likely touch the sink, we had to squeeze to shower. Shower needed a good scrub and very low pressure with the hot water. The hot water was actually warm. Since we like the location we most likely be back but will stay in a bigger room

For the age (established in 1610) this is a fantastic stay and right next to the main plaza in downtown Guadalajara!

The water and electricity cut off on the middle of the night around 9pm and didn’t turn on until 2am luckily we needed to go to sleep to catch a flight. The staff is very accommodating
The only elevator doesn’t work and the 3rd floor is very loud with AC noises and cathedral bells every hour. This is the oldest hotel in Guadalajara and it shows.

A Stay in a historic monument
The Hotel is a historical monument, so don't expect modern facilities. The attendant clerk seems very busy, so you'll have to wait most of the times to be attended.
The suite was nice, only a few cons, the room was 2 bed, but only one warm blanket. this is winter season, so expect cold. called the clerk to get another warm blanket, it never arrived.
The rooms are old, so expect some minor issues. Still has its beauty.
Recommended mostly for guests who don't expect a modern accomodation.
