Swissotel Resort Phuket Kamala Beach, Kamala

Perfect for families - large spacious family suites, safe and fun pool with easy access. 5 min walk from the beach in quite location. Restaurant served good choice of good quality food, but service was slow (10% service charge automatically applied). Fantastic idea - the room was provided with the use of a mobile phone to use on/off premises with free international calls. Would stay again.

The resort is deaigned so, that you don’t have to do ANYTHING by youtself and this is very relaxing. However if you like you can walk to Kamala beach where massage&restaurants are cheaper. The cleaning staff was not as good as I am used to in Thai resorts. They did not change my sheets in any of the 5 days and no animals from towels or orchids in room.

Great hotel for kids and family. Excellent pool and kids playroom. Location is good. Will stay again.

Overall great. They can improve by providing halal section for breakfast. Many big hotels in Thailand are doing this as many of their guests are Muslims.

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a 2br suite which was quite spacious. The bathroom however was comparitively quite small with only a shower. Plenty of activities for the kids and the pool & slide were excellent. Only real down points were the location was a bit isolated to the extent that you need to get a taxi at min 200 baht to anything further than the half dozen shops in the street of the hotel or Kamala Beach and the fact that there are no lifts at the hotel, so as our room was on the top floor, up 3 levels, we had to climb ~50 steps to get there
