2/10 Poor
Nov 14, 2024
We arrived at 8:00 pm but quickly faced a series of frustrations. Unable to find the entrance, I called the number on my reservation only to learn that check-in was at a different location. I could walk 10 minutes or drive closer. I drove, then waited another 30 minutes due to a system outage before returning to the original site.
On-site parking was advertised, but I was told to use a nearby public lot. While unloading, a man approached, demanding money to “watch” my car. When I refused, he became aggressive, a stressful experience for my wife and our 7-month-old. We managed to walk away and approached the building, only to find the code provided didn’t work. Multiple attempts and calls were useless; a fellow guest who overheard me finally opened the gate, explaining he had also waited over an hour. We both called the hotel again, and after another ten minutes, staff arrived to grant access. We finally entered our room 1.5 hours after arrival.
The room itself was recently renovated, spacious, and elegantly simple. However, it had an overpowering smell of fried chicken, which, though unpleasant, we ignored due to exhaustion.
Positives included the professional and apologetic staff member who helped us. However, management needs to address significant issues, especially the access code system. I’d recommend switching to a reliable key card system. Despite the room’s aesthetic appeal and the staff’s helpfulness, I can’t recommend this location due to the operational setbacks
