Stay at Kyriad Caen
Stinky hallways, mold in the room, and broken toilet seat. The place didn't feel very clean. We are not the picky kind, and stayed in multiple hotels in the past months and this is our lowest quality one. A little too spartan for us. But their staff is nice. Other advantage: next to a nice supermarket.

Very pleasant welcome despite arriving at 2315. The room and shower room was compact but perfect for a one night stay. The bed itself was really comfortable and the whole place was really clean. For the amount of money paid you just can’t fault it. We would definitely stay again.

This is a budget hotel. The rooms are small but our bed was comfortable. There is just enough room in the en suite bathroom. The towels are too small but additional ones are available. The hotel offers breakfast if ordered the day before but the adjacent hypermarket does too, except Sundays, with more choice and more space. Restaurent Le Tablier, 10 mins walk away, was good for dinner. City centre is a 15 minute drive away.

Ferry Stop Over
Great place for a ferry stopover. The rooms are indeed small but fine if all you want to do is get some sleep before getting an early ferry or before carrying on your journey through France. The showers were really good, although towels were very small? The breakfast they offer was really good. Nice selection, all fresh and a great start to the day. One free breakfast per room

The double bed mattress was actually two single mattresses meeting in the middel Not what I expected, The bnotedroom- the space between the side walls and bed was very narrow one had to walk sideways. not good.It was however very cheap and good value.

Decent enough for a one night stay
Not much room between each side of the bed and the walls so have to walk sideways to get into bed. A build up of dust on the skirting boards by the side of the bed. Otherwise an easy place to find when arriving late in the evening from the ferry, decent enough for a one night stay.
