Room was of an excellent standard with wonderful sea and river views, out side areas and the two pools are large, clean and plenty of sun loungers for all guests, Reception services were poor, lacking in customer care, had a taxi booked that was one and a half hours late to the airport,then headed to wrong airport, not drivers fault, he was misinformed by the reception staff , no towels in room for two days despite complaining to reception on first day and half way through check in, the receptionist stopped serving us to deal with another dissatisfied customer.
Food in dining room was warm not hot at breakfast and lunch and staff desperately need customer care training.
Plenty of food choices and it can easily be rectified with staff training.
The only exception was Maria at the poolside bar, she was polite, friendly, customer focused and bi-lingual and a credit to the establishment..
Tips on area
Walk to town of El Rompido, 15 mins, turn right at the bottom of the hill and carry on straight , great bars and restaurants, don`t use bank machine in square, charged 12 euro for a 250 euro withdrawal
