Nice hotel but really small rooms.
This is a nice hotel near the train station. Check-in was excellent. We opened our door to leave our bags while they were cleaning the room but it was way too small. We had three carry on size bags. Luckily, our daughter had her room next-door and she came the day before us so we stored our bags in her room for a while. This was not our normal hotel when we stay in PARIS but we were only here for one night before we went to Belgium. Room was very tight to get around. There was a safe in the room. The shower is level with the toilet, but it has glass halfway down the wall so you can see in from the bedroom. You can pull the curtains to block the toilet. We had room facing the street and it was pretty quiet. Hotel has a small elevator. I do not think there would be room for a wheelchair. Also probably only one large bag and one human might fit. Staff is very nice. Location is good. Breakfast is available for a charge.

good for lovers, not for families
there is no blinds and clear glass between the bathroom and the bedroom so it's only cosy if you are there as a couple ...unfortunately i was a father staying with my 8 year old daughter - so had to resort to having showers when she was asleep ..the only saving grace was a shower curtain between the shower and the toilet - otherwise that would be fully exposed to the bedroom too!

Get cozy at the Avalon cosy hotel
The super helpful staff stored my luggage before checkin so I could attend my Olympic event. The gare du nord is an easy walk and gives you access to the gorgeous City. The AC is so refreshing and the bed is comfy.

Would stay again.
Locstion is perfect for Gare Du Nord, just 5min walk. We had no noise issues with our room, which looked into the centre court. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but adequat. Although i would recommand they invest and update their coffee serives. Yes id stay again.

Biggest positive was the location. Very close to Gare Du Nord, and very convenient to travel all over the city. Service was excellent and breakfast was nice, value for money. Biggest negative was the room size. Really really small, although the layout was good and they tried to fit in whatever they could. All in all, a good experience.

We stayed here because we had to catch a train at Gare du Nord and this was less than 5 min. walk. The rooms are small like many others in Paris, but they were clean and beds were comfortable. The receptionists were also friendly.
