Great hotel with small toilet rooms.
The location was great. Easy walk to every where. Hotel was nicely decorated and clean. Rooms was nice and clean. The only downside to the whole hotel was size of the room where toilet was in the bathroom. It is small. No room at all. So if a big person it will be very hard to use.

To charge 8 dollars for a bottle of water in the room when you pay 550 dollars a night is just so unattractive. Furtheron, also there was a note saying enjoy the bath amenities like cotton pads during your stay - if you bring some home there will be a charge!

We looked at all hotels in downtown Charleston and are so glad we picked the Palmetto! Nice amenities, hot chocolate in the bar, breakfast included, turndown service, etc. They also gave us a cake for my birthday and baby moon and it was so sweet! Just a wonderful experience and we felt well taken care of and comfortable. Also a fridge in the room + quality mini bar. It’s modern and renovated!

The room was small. No where to put luggage. We were out since the morning walking came back to the room around 5 to rest and get ready before dinner, room not cleaned. When it was finally cleaned it was as if they just changed the towels. And made the bed. Slippers were thrown in the middle of the bathroom. In different spots. Just strange. Breakfast is so so. I mean it’s fine. Just don’t expect anything special.
