Heater wasn't working, they made me change rooms and the room they moved me to the heater wasn't working either. I left a day earlier. The guy that work at the front desk could be nice w the guests. He sounded annoyed by my request.
This was our first time staying in a hotel since hotels have reopened during COVID, so we knew things wouldn’t be the same. However, we wanted to have a mini getaway with friends over Labor Day, and I called ahead to get confirmation that the pool would be open and breakfast would still be included (learned bagged instead of buffet.) After checking in and following the directions to check off our bagged breakfast choices, the next morning after picking up the bag, half of our items were missing and we had to make another trip back down, only to discover they were “out of” those items (but also the drinks had been left out of the bag so had to make a separate trip for that). We had toddlers with us and they did not get the bananas we ordered, and I’m vegetarian and was given a sausage biscuit instead of the egg croissant, bagels were stale. Also, we had to sign up for a pool time slot which nobody warned us about at check in. They had 30 min increments for swim, sandwiched with 30 min increments for cleaning, but nobody came to clean when we were there and my friend’s toddler almost choked on a small LEGO that was left by the previous people, so I don’t think cleaning was done. Additionally, we wanted to allow our frazzled friend of the toddlers to take a nap, but cleaning service woke her up at 10:30 to clean the room! She wasn’t able to sleep after that and checkout wasn’t until 12, so needless to say, we were not thrilled with our stay. At least the beds were comfortable.
Residence Inn always feels like home, but this time the room had a bad smell. Couldn't change rooms because it was full. So need to replace carpets or use scented cleaning supplies.

I liked that the suite had 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen.
Business travels were changed due to COVID-19. This was a last minute change from another hotel. The thing that struck me was the number of dogs allowed in the hotel. Being allergic to animal hair this was a nightmare for me. The stated 'full hot breakfast' however on the one day I was able to partake it was cold watery scrambled eggs, even colder sausages and an out of service waffle maker. it was subsequently closed due to COVID-19. You would think there would be a discount but there was none. Additionally, the walls were paper thin and the room next door had major arguments and someone even threaten to 'shoot up the entire hotel'. Needless to say I was slightly terrified. The front desk personnel were almost non-existence and if they were around they provided NO assistance whatsoever. Perhaps this is why when I needed to extend my trip by one day due to my flight being cancelled, my room rate almost doubled despite all the restrictions over the coronavirus. When we arrived the only two bedroom room left had no oven, it was a handicap room so we couldn’t use one of the bathrooms to shower in. The floor was soaking wet so we had to keep our shoes on the whole stay. We found human or dog hair on the beds and a bug that looked like a flea or a bed bug on one of the beds. When we requested a bed change, we were hand the items to change the bed ourselves. The microwave stopped working and when we called for help we were told the person wouldn’t be on the property until the following day day sometime. There was a giant blood stain on the rug near the front door, possibly from a dog. I have been trying to contact the manager but I’ve been given a runaround! I Will let everyone I know to not book a room here ever!
I was stressed out needed a quiet room apparently he put me at the end hallway next to the boilers and the air conditioner and it was just constant going on and off on and off I didn't get no sleep whatsoever otherwise everything was great
Our shower was broken for 2 days. The knob to the shower was stripped and we were unable to turn the shower off. The water ran for hours! We were forced to take a shower in another room. I am requesting some sort of monetary compensation for this inconvenience.
