I didn’t expect much, honestly, when I booked this room but we only needed to stay 1 night so I said, awww what the heck, it’s convenient. What a nice surprise! The place is absolutely immaculate and pleasantly modern inside. The first thing I noticed was how good it smelled when I walked in the room. The room itself is very spacious, as is the bathroom. Another plus for me was the fact that they use nice, thick towels and washcloths that are not the standard hotel white. But best of all, when I washed my face they smell like fabric softener instead of Clorox. Little things like this made it a comfortable stay for me! Loved it!

Not What You Would Expect for $200 a Nite

Cabin # 7 bed sheets were dirty and did not look like they had been changed. There was dirt on the sheets at bottom of the bed. The very small and uncomfortable gray futon looked like it was suited for a kid. The small refrigerator did not keep food good and leaked water onto the floor that I had wiped up. There were no paper towels and a very little of diluted Ajax dish detergent by the sink. The kitchen sink was so small it was difficult to wash dishes used or anything. There were fleas that were in this cabin that jumped onto my back and bit my foot and a flea that bit my significant others face. The tv was not working and was unplugged. that came from the cable box to the tv. We had to reboot the box. Nightstand had wooden pieces under it to steady it. No trash bags in the cabin. No toilet paper. Cabin was not stocked prior to guests arrival on Aug. 22-24, 2021. The wooden table and chairs where you sit to eat were very uncomfortable and should have had seat cushions placed on them. The knob was missing to the cooktop single burner and there was an outdated single burner unit set on top of the cooktop with no directions on how to use it. The driveway had big mud puddles and got mud on our car. This area seriously either needs crushed rock or paving. We noticed mold growth on quite a few of the cabins and rust line from an a/c on one of the exterior rear of one of the cabins. Air quality with the A/C on was registering at unhealthy air quality. Not good!

The pool is deceiving in the pictures quite a bit smaller than pictured but clean. No trash can in room, the bed was broken, and the air conditioner was extremely loud, sounded like an engine revving up every time it turned on. The shower mat was a piece of paper that ripped as soon as it got wet and made a mess everywhere. Great size refrigerator and again facility was clean.

Nostalgic motel, brings you back to childhood road trips— rooms open with an actual key, park right next to your door, patterned worn sheets like grandma’s house, a nice outdoor pool Yet rooms were noisy (we could hear footsteps above us and talking from outside and from the room above). We never could get the internet to work, even after checking with the desk.

The location was great. The woman in reception was at best cold. I got 2 rooms for 2 nights, both with 2 queen beds yet was charged an extra 50 per night for having 3 people in each room, that actually sleeps 4. For the extra money i shouldn't have had to ask for towels for the "extra" guests. The beds were very uncomfortable, with very old bedding. Pillows were very worn. No trash can in bathroom, one very small one by the bed. With no housekeeping services, a small one for bathroom would have been good. Mirrors were ridiculously smeared and appeared dirty. A smoke detector was in one room, the other room had it removed and the mount left on wall. Definitely would consider staying somewhere else next trip.
