Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbia

Employees were very nice. Room was not in good condition. There was mold on the ceiling, by an air vent and in the shower. The toilet paper holder fell out of the wall on multiple occasions, and we were in a room on the first floor that looked out into the parking lot with no privacy sheers. Would not return.

Absolutely disgusting. Dont waste your money. Everything was outdated and barely clean. Tears in sofas, nasty carpet and dirty chairs. I booked 2 rooms. Both equally gross.

The staff were nice, however the rest of the hotel was dirty, run down, and just overall in poor condition. The only breakfast available was a warm bottle of water, an apple, and a pastry in a bag. No housekeeping, not even fresh towels. Carpet torn with wood and nails exposed. Bathroom ceiling falling apart.

It was an okay place to stay, not enough dishes in the room have to wash after every meal. The bath faucet dripped all night and the tub did not drain very well. The bathroom and kitchen floor was sticky from the cleanser.

I called to let them know we would be a late check in as we drive from WI. We arrived to a king room when I reserved and all ready paid for 2 queens as well a leaking ceiling and water all over the floor. There were no other rooms available and as it’s midnight we are stuck so they mop up the water we throw towels on the floor and allow 2 in the bed and one on the loveseat. Not an ideal start to dropping off you oldest child at college a 1000 miles away from home. It’s been a week and I have yet to see the refund for that night that I was promised!

Carpet was wet from a leak. Nobody cleaned the room.

There were a couple places house keeping seemed to miss. Saw 1 small brown roach when we turned the ac off. If it matters, they're really lax about masks. Their pool is open though.

Staff continues to WOW me everyday. They are so helpful and easy going yet stern with rules and regulations. It IS SO clean. No Covid lasting in here let me tell you. I will stay as long as I can I love it.
