I arrived a little after 10pm and was not able to get my room key until the next morning when they opened up. Apparently they shut everything down at 9pm and this was not communicated to us. We traveled almost 15 hrs by train to get to this hotel and we were forced to sleep in the lounge because no one was there to give us a key. And then they charged us full price despite this horrible incident. This establishment has very poor policies for check-in and very bad communication skills. The lady at the front desk thought it was absolutely acceptable for us to sleep in the lounge area because no one was around to give us our key. It is now 2024 and almost all hotels have some form of electronic check-in so a guest is not forced to sleep outside or on the porch in the event they arrive late. Otherwise, it seems like a nice place, they mean well. They just are not up to date with the times and have really bad communication skills with their guests.
