Scandic Espoo

For 200 Euro a night I expect that the hotel will have clean towels and toilet paper in the room. I shouldn't have to complain 4 times to get these things

Cleanliness is ok, not much going on in the local area unless you go into Helsinki. The hotel sports bar is quite good.

Stayed at this hotel a few times as good location for local business. Reasonable restaurant and bar but very little to do outside the hotel. WiFi good in room.

Towel was dirty. I Throw it on the floor but cleaning lady put it back everything else was okay

Rooms are small, but clean and have all the essentials. Sauna was clean and empty for the most part. Breakfast buffet had lots of healthy options. Seating area was big and well-kept. Overall the hotel was clean, but the restaurant side was not. The restaurant in the hotel was not very clean. In addition, the main chef failed to do appropriate hand hygiene on several occasions - he touched his cap and hair with gloves on and did not change his gloves before returning to food preparation; was eating while preparing food; tasted food he had prepared and did not do proper hand hygiene afterwards. Certainly, several other things I noticed during dinner resulted in I not eating the rest of my meal out of fear that the hygiene practices were not up to standards.

The first room we got was dirty and the only thing that had been done was the bed. Dirty cups, bathroom was not cleaned.. The bed was comfortable but we would have rather wished for one big blanket instead of 2 small ones. The hotel is rather old and has not been even tried to look a bit better. Also breakfast was not so great as I have experienced in other Scandic hotels.

Hotelli oli rauhallinen. Autolle oli parkkitilaa. Huoneessa ei toiminut jääkaappi, mistä kerroimme aamulla vastaanottoon. Aamupala oli maukas, vaikka ei ollut vaaleaa leipää tarjolla, sulatti tarjoilija pakkasesta lapselle leipää syötäväksi. Koronan takia rajoitettua palvelua, mikä ei meitä haitannut. Rauhallinen yösija oli meille se tärkeintä.

Huoneessa hieman roskaa sängyn alla, jonka lapsi huomasi lattialla makoillessa. Kylpy oli kiva. Sijainti osoittautui kuitenkin ihan hyväksi. Vaikka jouduimme scandikin puolesta muuttamaan Espoon hotellista tähän. Palvelu oli hyvää ja samoin aamupala
