Hotel céntrico, en una calle empinada pero accesible. El personal es muy amable. El hotel está reformado pero no por ello deja de ser un tanto decadente (el baño, por ejemplo, tenía problemas con los grifos). Eso sí, la cama es comodísima. Y la limpieza muy bién.

The hotel was in an ideal location for my business trip. Communication before arrival confirmed that I complied with Covid restrictions. Free car parking was an advantage. Check in was quick and efficient and my room which was on the first floor allowed beautiful views across the city. It was spacious and a couple of steps up to the gallery windows allowed access to a small balcony. I was informed of the evening meal arrangements in the bar and was told that a restricted breakfast menu was complimentary. With all staff adhering to Covid protocol and hand sanitizer available on every table it added to the positive attitude from the hotel staff. The restricted evening menu was acceptable as was the breakfast menu. I would sum up by saying that nothing was too much trouble and despite the current climate it was always service with a smile.

Lovely hotel which is well situated - only a 10-15 min walk to centre but nice and quiet with little noise. Hotel is nice and staff friendly. Our room had a good view over the city.

Beautiful building. Big airy rooms with large windows giving fabric view of the city.

Nice hotel room was big TV to far away from bed, shower needs more safety bar at end of bath to exit quite dangerous, staff very friendly service was slow,food good, overall nice break

Great experience overall, will say again

Due to a full house the previous night, my check in was delayed but I was given a complementary tea in the bar while I waited. Extra time spent cleaning during Covid is more than okay with me so I didn’t mind the minor inconvenience. All of the staff were incredibly attentive; there was a general air of positivity and professionalism about the hotel. My room was very nice - big bed, gorgeous view over the city and clean. However, one or two of the floor tiles were loose and sometimes it was a struggle for the water to come out of the taps without making a lot of noise, but it’s an old building so I can understand that. Overall I was pleased with my stay.

I was really disappointed with this stay. It wasn't cheap and I was expecting a really nice room. The room was dirty. We had to ask for clean pillows due to stains on them. The balcony door was close to seizing - a clear lack of maintenance. Good location and easy to park at, but I won't be back.

Very average stay, not sure I'd consider this a 4star hotel. Nothing awful to complain about, just not up to the same standards as other places on the trip. Service was pretty average again, quite slow although understanding they can be quite busy. The room was very warm, opening the window didnt help much. We requested a fan at 8am morning after our first stay, as they dont have air con, we were told they would have a look, but almost felt we were being a pester. Asked 4 times avout the fan. Came back at 1:30 and they still hadnt had a look for one. Felt a bit disappointed to have to keep asking and not much apologies given. We were told that between the 2 nights stay we wouldnt have the room serviced which was fine but that we would get a care package of fresh towels, but we didnt receive this either. It wasn't an awful stay, was not too far of a walk into cork and we chose this because it had free parking, although we stayed mid week and parking was difficult to find sometimes. It also has a decent fitness area, though you have to book and only one room can use it per hour. For the price i definitely wouldnt be going back. More of a 3* hotel with 4* prices.
