150 damage deposit-charged at check in
Check in was slower than expected. Didn’t expect to pay for the room and a $150 damage deposit at check- in. Rooms are quiet. Looks like they were just renovated and not quite finished. Light switch by door didn’t turn anything on. No cover on heat lamp in bathroom but it had incorrect bulb. Someone had ripped something off the wall and it hadn’t been fixed/ replaced. Could use a good vacuum on the carpet. Didn’t experience the pool and hoping for more than cereal at breakfast

I would stay again
Rooms were clean. The carpet was stained up, but overall, rooms were clean, the beds were clean, the bathroom was clean. I can't comment on the pool as we did not get the opportunity to enjoy that. The breakfast was very minimal, but I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone passing through that needs a place to lay their head.

Why would you take my pillow?
I really wanted to like this hotel as it was in a good location and close to my family. It was also half the cost as hotels I typically stay in. I'm a 27 year Marriott employee so am used to nice facilities and good service. The check in process was fine. When I got to my room, there was a broken ironing board hanging from the wall. It was open about 3 feet and I wasn't able to close it. I had the engineer take it away cause it was just in the way. The room had a musky smell but that cleared up when I turned on the heat (the room was cold). There was a refrigerator which appeared to be working and a microwave which I never used. There was a hairdryer on the wall and it didn't work. There was a stain in the carpet in the middle of the room. The beds were clean and nice but the mattress was too hard for my taste. The water pressure in the shower wasn't very good either. After spending the first day with my family, I got back to the room and noticed that one of the pillows that I had brought from home was missing. It wasn't a pretty pillow but I liked it and I'm guessing a housekeeper just picked it up and threw it away. The desk associate took me to the laundry room and we weren't able to find it. It was obviously not one of their pillows so why would they bother taking it? I just don't get it. I would think I would be reimbursed for that or something. But nothing but a "Sorry". I probably won't stay here again.
