Ramada by Wyndham Oxford

Poor experience. Was not told we need to pre book breakfast upon check in. So the next morning. Went for breakfast and nothing available. Then told only option is full English and we are non meat eaters. Should clearly state this on the site. No refund for breakfast for three days. Room dirty, dust behind tv, carpet not vacuumed, toilet had marks, room only had boiling hot water, no cold water whatsoever so difficult to shower with two children. No towel bedding cleaning etc due to Covid. Had to ask twice for more toilet paper, and then given. Room five we were in. Triple room. With double plus two singles. Third single bed very uncomfortable and more like a pull out bed but room listed as a double bed + plus two single beds. overall bad experience, only plus was free parking.

Don't bother booking & paying extra for an executive room as you may not get that room, it appears to be a first come first severed basis on room allocation. I was first told all rooms cost the same, which was not correct! I was then told that to get a refund of the additional cost, I would have to go through the company I booked with.

Doors were meant to be sealed to prove room had been clean and no one had entered it since. Are room was the only one that didn’t have this sea and when asked about this at reception the receptionist was rude and just told me the room had been cleaned. Toilet was dirty and sink clearly has not even been wiped. Sheets had some weird stains on. Lucky it was cheap and I had no where else to stay or I would have left.

Decent Budget Styke Hotel. Super fast, industrialized style check in. Very much a no-frills hotel. Other than the room and restaurant there is literally nothing else the hotel has to offer. Staff as helpful as can be given their demanding workload of hundreds of builders who stay there every night. No refrigerator in the room. Only one large towel provided in the twin room and water pressure on the shower is weak. Decent otherwise

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was not cleaned to a high standard, which in these times is important. Remote Controls not in a sanitised bag, toothpaste from the last guest still visible around the sink. That pretty much sums it up!

It was okay.

Its was a convenient nights stay. The member of staff at reception was very polite and helpful. The location was very convenient. Super helpful being allowed to take dogs. The room condition wasn’t th best but you get what you pay for, it was cheap and cheerful. A little grubby with dust as well as mud on the floor. The fan in the bathroom took an age to turn off and sounded like it was struggling, overall though it was an easy stop over, we weren’t expecting much so it didnt dissappoint.

The Single bed was sandy. There were 3 of us but only given 1 set of towels. Very basic room.
